Kingwood Pines Hospital provides state-of-the-art treatment for these disorders in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Our psychiatrists and professional staff members use highly effective new generation medications and modern therapy techniques to help children regain their self-confidence, enjoyment of life, and functioning at home and at school.

Our Programs

• Acute inpatient care – for children who require a protective environment, intensive psychiatric treatment, and 24-hour nursing care.
• Partial hospitalization – for children who require intensive psychiatric programming during the day but are well enough to return home in the evening.
• Intensive outpatient – provides children with three hours of intensive psychiatric programming per day.
• Office-based follow-up care – Kingwood Pines Hospital works closely with local mental health professionals to provide continuing care after discharge.

Our Treatment Team

Treatment for each patient is managed by a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals led by a psychiatrist. Team members include Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Social Workers and Registered Nurses.
